Coaching

Coaching Executives
Over the past 25 years we have successfully coached hundreds of key executives. Although they often ask us to address "soft" skills, the priority is always on business objectives and execution. Sometimes a coachee needs to face blind spots. Most of the time, they need a confidante who understands the reality of their world. Each executive has unique needs. A high potential manager may need to learn to "get it", while a C-level executive may need to balance their ego with more finesse. We have numerous cases of executives who have learned creative ways to exceed the expectations of their colleagues.

Coaching Management Teams
Traditionally called "Team Building", our approach to team coaching is a far cry from touchy-feely boondoggles of the past. When we coach teams, the focus is on strategy and/or execution. Although this often requires attention to people issues such as trust and straight talk, the goal is business-based.

Teams learn best as teams. This is true for vice presidents or project managers. To learn new skills, teams must wrestle with real issues and real people. Action learning methods allow people to learn new skills on the job, and to align their efforts with each other. When we design a team-coaching program, we incorporate action learning in innovative ways to produce behavior change and measurable results.

Our Coaches
PhD-level organizational psychologists provide most of our coaching, although our specialty coaches provide deep experience in operations/quality, lifestyle mastery or HR leadership.
